Missions

How far back can you remember? We are fortunate to have records of some of the first meetings of CBC’s early leadership team, as far back as the 1950s. If you examine those meeting minutes, you’ll find that world missions has been a part of our church’s DNA since the very beginning. The early members were faithful in commissioning and supporting missions work around the world, and we want to continue that legacy. We are grateful to support the missions and missionaries below.

John and Becky Knox – The Knox’s have been faithfully serving as Pastor of a small church in Japan for over 30 years. We are pleased to partner with them.

Jason and Poh Lai Goh – The Goh’s currently serve the Lord in Singapore as well as partnering with Remember to serve Hope Children’s Home in Burma.

Remember is an organization dedicated to meeting the needs of the persecuted church and serving as a link between the members of the Body of Christ, overseas and here at home.

The Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center exists to advance biblical transformation through counseling people, equipping counselors and planting counseling ministries.

Cuba – We have been blessed to partner with Ebenezer Baptist Church in Maisi, Cuba. God has greatly blessed their ministry and we are happy to call them our sister church.

World Missions – We support missionaries who are in Central Asia sharing the Gospel with Muslim people groups.

Katie Depooter – Katie serves in Indonesia. She and her team are laboring to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with a remote and currently unreached people group there.
